The problem I usually walk into
A site that died when a vendor stopped paying for it. A Google listing with the wrong phone number, or somebody else’s. Three different numbers across four directories. None of it is dramatic, and all of it quietly sends work to a competitor whose page loads.
It is fixable, usually in weeks rather than months, and you should own every piece of it when it is done — the domain and the listing stay in your accounts, in your name.
